i enjoyed the staff attentiveness to details. roland provided local information with such enthusiasm. he even offered a hotel tour, this included several room options, for future stays. food and service matched such top class quality.
the room decor felt slightly dated. it was not bad, but it reminded me of a basic bed and breakfast, more than a boutique experience.

The continental breakfast offered a great choice of foods (i particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries). the staff was very polite and attentive, always ready to help. the location was central. I could easily walk to shops and local attractions. the free parking was a real bonus, although the driveway is quite narrow.
The room, though clean, faced an area with some discarded items. I saw old mattresses from the window.

The location was acceptable it was close to High Street.
The room I got was very small I found it quite stuffy. The hotel seems a little tired there are some original features such as wooden beams but they do not help much. The layout was not user friendly I felt it was disappointing.
